If the sun is out, then the beaches of Bude,Widemouth and Crooklets on the North Coast and Dawlish and Exmouth on the South Coast, provide the perfect day out.

If you like walking there are some fantastic walks nearby, awash with Bluebells in May such as’ The Deerpark’, near Sandy Park or follow the River Teign from Sandy Park to Fingle Bridge, with Castle Drogo towering above you, on the side of the valley.

If you like to walk on Dartmoor, then we have plenty of maps and guides you can use, including circular family walks. You are welcome to bring your dog too and they will have their own little supply of snacks, as well as bowls provided.
