A family run working farm on the edge of beautiful North Dartmoor, Lovaton Farm has been home to our family for many years. Our deep roots in this traditional landscape shape everything we do, from the way we care for our land and animals to the warm welcome we offer every guest.

Orchard Barn is a spacious, luxurious three-bedroom barn conversion on our working farm, perfect for a peaceful countryside escape. Lovingly renovated, it offers an open plan living area with a well equipped kitchen, cosy dining and lounge spaces, and a wood burner or air conditioning for year round comfort.
Upstairs are three super kingsize bedrooms (two en suite) plus a family bathroom with a roll top bath and beautiful rural views.
Outside, relax beside the apple orchard with outdoor seating, a barbecue, and a private hot tub. Guests also enjoy a games/utility room, dog wash, and secure storage for bikes and surfboards.

Stay in our cosy 18th-century farmhouse, offering two spacious en-suite rooms, a double and a family room, each with both a bath and shower. Rooms are warm, quiet, and well-equipped with a Smart TV, tea and coffee facilities, fresh milk, our own apple juice, and access to a microwave. The family room also includes toys for younger guests.
Start your day with a continental breakfast featuring a range of delicious produce. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are always available.
We’re very dog-friendly, providing treats, water bowls, and areas to exercise your dog. Nearby villages like Chagford, Okehampton, North Tawton and Belstone make great dog-walking destinations.
Relax on the lawn with a drink while children enjoy the football net, swing ball, sandpit, and more, because happy kids mean relaxed parents.
